The 2011 Hermitage Cat Calendar has arrived!

Calendars are on sale NOW for just $15 per calendar.

As part of the annual live auction at The Cat’s Meow in April, attendees were given the opportunity to bid on a price to have a photo of their pet cat represent a month in the calendar for The Hermitage in 2011. Thank you to our supporters who purchased individual months to host a photo of their personal kitty cats.

Some of The Hermitage’s own felines are featured throughout and you can even see pictures of sponsorable cats available for “Sponsor-A-Cat” sponsorship at The Hermitage.

Calendars may be purchased at The Hermitage Cat Shelter or ordered by telephone, (520) 571-7839 ext. 3.

The 2011 Calendars will also be available for purchase at The Save-A-Cat Sunday BBQ!!

Old towels taking up valuable closet space?

Clean out that closet today by donating your old towels and sheets to The Hermitage.

We are in immediate need of linens like towels and sheets for cages, kennels, bathing and working with our kitties. Blankets and pillows for “cat comfort” are also appreciated.

You can drop your linens off anytime between 8 am and 4 pm 7 days a week.  If there isn’t an available staff member to assist you, feel free to leave your  donations on the table on the front porch.

Join The Hermitage for an evening of family fun for animal lovers of all ages.
A full chicken Bar-B-Q dinner will be provided by Eegee’s along with a homemade dessert table.

Each ticket purchased will be entered into a raffle of prizes, donated by our sponsors,  including gift baskets, cat condo, and more ….

Live music will be performed by Bobby Ronstadt & Friends.

Join The Hermitage No-Kill shelter as we remember our founder, Sister Theresa Seraphim, with a tribute luncheon. Speical guests who were priviledged to know the good sister during her life will share inspiring and amusing stories about her. A collection of her personal photographs and memorablilia from the early days of The Hermitage will be on display.

On Wednesday August 11, The Hermitage celebrated 45 years this summer when founder Sister Seraphim first established the sanctuary. To mark the occasion the Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting celebration.
